DSCF2288DSCF2293 The Church of Sir Thomas Erpingham, Erpingham, Norfolk

I had the good fortune in September 2015 to be invited to a weekend event in the village celebrating  the life of this grand old man, the Marshal of the Kings Archers at Agincourt.

The local population were certainly proud of their association with him and had put on a series of events all year in celebration, culminating in this impressive event.

T was able to perform the Agincourt Archer a total of six times over the weekend and where was the performance venue?

In the actual church that Erpingham had built in his own village out of the proceeds of the Agincourt campaign.

It is a beautiful, well maintained and used church.

It was a wonderful feeling to be able to do this performance in  this location!
